Story
The movie starts with Siva running and catching a train in which he meets Sakthi casually. Siva claims himself to be an Indian army Officer while Shakti claims herself to be an air hostess. They discuss about their professions for the rest of the journey and go about their respective ways after disembarking from the train.
Siva goes straight to his house and tells his mother, sister Viji and her students about his encounter with this very beautiful girl in train. The family along Siva's friend Vivek go to the airlines office to meet Sakthi. They are in for a surprise as Shakila walks out claimimg to be Sakthi. Siva's family and Vivek laugh their ass off at this. The receptionist at the airlines office who happens to be Sakthi's roommate informs Sakthi of the army officers visit.
Siva in reality works as a delivery boy for Professional couriers while Sakthi works as a Radio Jockey for Hello FM. They meet up in Hello FM's office when Siva gets a courier to deliver her. They are shocked to learn that the other one has lied and vow to hit back soon. Siva and Vivek call up as Sakthi as she hosts a show for children and tease her. Siva later calls up Sakthi and in a fit of rage, she challenges Siva to directly confront her face to face instead of calling up. Siva finds her address and delivers a parcel containing alcohol bottles and tells her father that it was sent to her by her friend. This gets Sakthi in trouble with her father. In return, Sakthi visits Siva's home and tattles on him about his drinking habits to his mother. She then joins his mother and sister in teasing him.
Siva tries to take Sakthi out to a movie but she uses him as a driver and goes to the movie with another colleague. Siva coincidently meets Vivek with whom Siva wathces the movie, sitting behind Sakthi and her colleague.
A few days later, Siva learns that Sakthi is about to get married in a registrar's office. He goes there only to find her brother getting married. The bride's cousins who oppose this marriage come there to stop the wedding. But Siva stops and beats them all for belittling Asin, Nayantara, Trisha and Namitha (the top Kollywood heroines). The heroine gets impressed and falls for the hero's fighting skills.
She again visits our heroes place and befriends Siva's mom and sister Viji. She stays overnight and proposes to Siva with a cake. Siva had earlier told her his birthday during the initial train journey which turns out to be a lie. Siva's family makes fun of her knowing this. Sakthi leaves the place immediately out of anguish. Siva tries to explain things to her,but she behaves indifferently.
Siva goes straight to his home. Viji pulls his leg as usual. Our hero, in fit of rage starts hurting her. He accuses his mom of being a chatterbox who killed his dad by non-stop talking and leaves home. He comes back home and pleads guilty for his actions in the morning. He manages to get himself forgiven.
Siva goes straight to her office and creates a ruckus there. Sakthi is not present and he physically abuses her colleague by claiming himself to be her fiancee. The police are called and the Inspector happens to be someone who has had a love failure. He lets Siva escape.
Sakthi comes to Siva's place and both of them have yet another altercation. They decide to go their separate ways. A few days later, Sakthi's father calls up and asks her to meet a prospective groom Arun(Arya). They meet up and by coincidence, Siva comes to deliver a courier in the same hotel. Sakthi introduces him as a close friend of hers. Arun invites him for a coffee. Sakthi leaves for the restroom and Arun asks Siva about Sakthi. When Sakthi returns, Siva has left. Arun tells her what Siva had told him about her.
Sakthi realises that Siva has understood her perfectly and immediately goes in search of him and finds him in a wine shop. She goes inside and proposes to him. But Siva who now denies her love says that he would accept her only if she was ready to marry him. Sakthi accepts his deal and they sleep together for a night. The next morning, Siva jokes that he will marry another woman. Even though she knows he is joking, Sakthi realizes that he cannot take anything seriously and runs away from him. After a few months,Siva with his mother and sister goes to Shakthi's house and seeks her pardon. But Sakthi still hates Siva. Just then the family members discover Sakthi's pregnancy caused during their night together. The film concludes humorously with everyone surrounding Siva and beating him up.
As the closing credits come on, a scene is shown two years in the future where Siva and Sakthi are now married with a son (although the marriage is not a happy one). Siva brags to the audience how he had successfully won her over, and Sakthi tells him that no one will believe him.
