Story
The film opens with Vasudevan (Aadhi), a police officer, investigating the murder of Ramya (Sindhu Menon), his ex-lover. Initial reports from the scene of crime suggest that Ramya had committed suicide. Vasudevan, suspecting foul play, moves into the same apartment complex that Ramya lived in, to investigate further. While police investigation is underway in the neighbourhood, people who are associated with the case are killed under seemingly mysterious circumstances. Vasudevan soon discovers a supernatural force in play.
The film shuttles back and forth from the present investigation to Vasudevan and Ramya's past, where they fall in love and eventually break up. Subtle symbols keep appearing to Vasudevan and he begins to receive premonitions of the killings about to take place.The colour red and water when appearing together are premonitions and signals to Vasudevan that a murder is about to take place.
A series of twists and turns take the plot forward, until a final confrontation between Vasudevan and the real killer takes place.
Ramya's well mannered and soft spoken husband Bala(Nandha), her sister Dhivya(Saranya Mohan) play pivotal roles in the film.
